We are currently seeking a talented Offshore Heavy Lift Engineer to join our team of experts. Responsibilities:Plan, design, and execute heavy lift operations for offshore installations, including rigging, lifting equipment selection, and load calculationsConduct thorough assessments of lift requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards, relevant codes, and project specificationsCollaborate closely with project managers, marine engineers, and other stakeholders to develop efficient and cost-effective lifting plansPerform engineering calculations and simulations to determine the optimal approach for heavy lift operations, considering factors such as load capacity, stability, and environmental conditionsConduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment during lifting operationsProvide technical support and guidance to the offshore team during the execution of heavy lift activitiesContribute to all phases of the projects in AF Offshore Decom from tender, through engineering and procurement and finally project executionStay updated with industry developments and emerging technologies related to heavy lift engineering, and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency Requirements:Masters/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in heavy lift engineering, preferably in offshore environments, operational experience from installation or removal projects is an advantageStrong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and industry best practicesProficiency in engineering software and tools used for load calculations, simulations and draftingExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in complex lifting scenariosStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsProactive attitude towards safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safety-first culture Joining our team means being part of a collaborative and innovative environment that values your expertise and creativity.
