Duties and responsibilities
You will be working in our engineering department with various tasks. The job will primarily be to structure data related to our previous and ongoing projects, and gather insights related to our operations. The tasks will be established prior to, and during the internship, as relevant tasks will depend on the candidates’ background and company needs at that time. Typical tasks will be:Gather, process, and evaluate time utilization from our vessels on various projectsAssisting with 2D sketching in AutoCADWorking with vessel stability using the Autoload softwareAssist in one or more of Fred. Olsen's Windcarrier ongoing projectsDevelop vessel schedules and weather downtime analysis
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is in the process of starting their final year of study. Relevant areas for specialization could be within marine, structural, mechanical, or geotechnical engineering.An interest in marine operations will be considered a plus.
